Fund your studies


Investing in your future with a postgraduate degree is more affordable than ever through our scholarships and bursaries, as well as government loans.

Postgraduate loans

Take out a Master’s Loan of up to £11,570 or a Doctoral Loan of up to £27,265 to help pay for your studies. These government loans are not means tested and are paid directly to you.

Scholarships and bursaries

Our awards include an Alumni Postgraduate Award of £1,000, an EU Bursary worth £2,500, and an International Scholarship Award of up to £3,000. Our Commuter Bursary is worth up to £1,000 per year.

Research studentships

Look through our postgraduate research scholarships and studentships. They are postgraduate opportunities that include funding for fees, living expenses or both.

Research Council funding

Finance your research degree with a grant from one of the UK’s Research Councils. The grant could cover some or all of your tuition fees, living costs or expenses related to your course.
