Boosting your skills

Your personal tutor or supervisor will help you prepare for postgraduate study. You can also explore our online resources or talk to one of our academic skills tutors. If you’re a mature student and you’ve been away from education for a while, we can help you get your skills up to speed.

Access for all

You can get specialist support through our Student Wellbeing Service if you have a disability, specific learning difficulty, mental health condition, long-term medical condition, or personal issue that may impact on your studies. Our STAART ambassadors have faced similar challenges and can share their own insights on studying at the university.

You’re our top priority

Our campus security teams and resident assistants are here for your safety and protection. You can also download our personal safety app, Safezone.

Keeping healthy

Signing up with a doctor is easy. You can join our medical centre if you’re at Avery Hill, or we can help you find a local practice.

Always by your side

Our counsellors, mental health and psychological wellbeing coordinators and chaplains are there to support you.
