Taught courses
For most of our taught courses (MA/MSc/PGDip/MBA, etc), you’ll need to apply through the university. There are a few exceptions, which we’ve listed here.
Pre-registration nursing courses and MA Social Work
Apply through UCAS.
Teacher training
How you apply for teacher training depends on the type of course you’ve chosen.
- Full-time primary, secondary and further education PGCE and School Direct courses: apply through the Department for Education DFE – Apply route.
- Early Years Teacher Status PGCE courses: apply through the university
- Distance-learning further education and skills course: apply through the university.
International students
You can also apply for your University of Greenwich course through an authorised in-country representative.
Research degrees
There are two main routes to a University of Greenwich research degree.
- Join an established research group on a funded scholarship
- Find a supervisor for your own research idea.
You can discuss your options with our faculty or research admissions staff.
Doctorate in Education (EdD)
Contact the programme leader or our faculty or research admissions staff to find out more about the course. Then apply through the university.
Medway School of Pharmacy
Taught degrees
Before applying, explore the school’s taught degrees.
- General Pharmacy Practice – PGCert (for hospital pharmacists only): apply via your trust’s educational programme director; PGDip/MSc: apply through the university.
- Independent/Supplementary Prescribing PGCert: apply through the school.
- Medicines Optimisation PGCert/PGDip/MSc: apply through the university.
Medway School of Pharmacy
Research degrees
- Before applying, explore the school’s research degrees, including its self-funded PhDs and opportunities to study part-time. You can also find out about its research and research supervisors.
- Create your Kent Vision account to apply for your course in pharmacy; biochemistry and cell biology; chemistry and drug delivery; or pharmacology and physiology.
Apply as a current student
If you’re already an undergraduate student at the University of Greenwich, you’ll find it quick and easy to apply for one of our postgraduate courses. With a fast-track application, you’ll get an automatic conditional offer as long as you choose a course related to your undergraduate degree. You could also qualify for a Greenwich Postgraduate Scholarship.
