To our alumni, supporters, and friends,
On behalf of all colleagues, I want to say a warm thank you to all those who have generously supported the university this year. We are delighted to share this enhanced edition of The 1890. It reflects the exciting and impactful body of work made possible through philanthropy.
I also want to introduce you to our team, who are here to support you in return and to find ways in which we can work together to support the university in delivering an education without boundaries.
The magazine is named after the year Woolwich Polytechnic was founded. We are deeply proud of our history, which has always been to make education more accessible.
We are especially keen to reconnect with alumni from both our Woolwich and Thames Polytechnic days and if that includes you, please expect to hear from us soon, and please help us by sharing this publication with former classmates.
If you are here and wondering how you can get involved in your alumni community or how you can give back your time, talent or money to support our students, then please get in touch with me or one of my colleagues below.
Thank you.
