Modules you'll study

International Entrepreneurship (30 credits)

The module aims to examine how international business operations can have an influence on the international entrepreneurship firms. The module will highlight how entrepreneurs can conduct business in foreign markets.

Digital Marketing (30 credits)

On successful completion of this module a student will be able to:

• Critically examine the theory of relationship marketing and reflect on the relevance of these ideas to the development of Digital Marketing • Critically evaluate and apply a range of digital theories, tools and techniques to enable the successful design and delivery of integrated digital marketing plans • Reflect on, evaluate, and apply digital marketing metrics, including financial and nonfinancial measures • Critically reflect on and apply the knowledge of digital marketing to practical cases. In workshops, we will work on live briefs from the Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing and use guest speakers to discuss current issues in the industry

Strategic Marketing Management (30 credits)

The aim of the module is to allow students to develop an understanding of the role of marketing within an organisation both at a functional and strategic level. Students will be able to appreciate the tools, concepts and models used in undertaking a marketing audit and to enable them to evaluate the marketplace potential and risk from the perspective of the company's unique selling proposition (USP). The students will have the opportunity to implement the concepts with the use of a simulation game.

Professional Practice (30 credits)

  • Understand the impact of practical context on the understanding of organisations, their external context and of how they are managed
  • Use reflective skills to critically assess the nature, efficiency, and effectiveness of current knowledge for practice
  • Make linkages between professional practice and theoretical frameworks derived from international business
  • Show experience and understanding of MBA IB key skills
  • Critically evaluate your own key skills and assess what skills are required to thrive in the workplace
